About us

I would like to take this opportunity to introduce myself, and to share with you my background.

My name is Estela Preston, and I am the president of U-GO Transportation Inc. As a toddler, I was diagnosed with polio. My diagnosis led to the inability to walk, bedbound for 1 year, and multiple surgeries that included very long and extensive hospital stays up to age 6. I was surrounded by adults and other children whose conditions were worse than mine, also unable to walk without a wheel chair or crutches.
Through the years a few friends, family members and strangers crossed my life in need of vehicles with handicap accessibility. My cousin, Thulio, who is pictured on the main page in the wheelchair, has been my motivation to provide these services. He has also helped me to develop my business. He owns his own business, SKA Communications in Brazil. He is 28 years old and has no official diagnosis for his disability. He stays very active with Special Olympics and other outdoor activities. My journey has led me to where I am today, reaching out to those in need of assistance by providing a non-emergency medical transportation service. I am looking forward to making a difference for anyone in need.
